Edward H. Talbot and Kittie A. Talbot
-> John Rooney |
Warranty Deed - $1,900
4/28/1885 |
Appears to be a Warranty Deed labeled as an indenture.
Transfer subject to the earlier trust deed, which Rooney agrees to assume. Therefore. it would appear that the real cost of the transaction to John Rooney was $3,000 minus whatever Edward Talbot had already paid towards that earlier loan. On face value, it would appear that this transfer occurred right before the first payment was due under the earlier trust deed. Since there was an increase in value in less than one year, it is possible that this increase reflects that Edward started a business on the property or built the building.
